03/06/2025: Baptists on Mission is operating 6 recovery sites in western North Carolina to assist those affected by hurricane Helene. We are providing Essential Rapid Repairs (ERR) to get homeowners back into their homes as quickly as possible (see below). You don’t need to be trained to serve. We're grateful to the more than 13,000 people who have volunteered since the storm hit our state.

We are in the first rebuild phase of Essential Rapid Repairs (ERR). In this first phase we are trying to get people back into their home and make it safe, sanitary and functional (not finished) before the worst of winter. Volunteers will be needed for the next few years to help people finish their homes. 

Please know that we will have many opportunities to serve for weeks, months and years to come.
